Earlier today, I had something of import to write here. Something witty, I think.
This morning, PEPCO, in its infinite wisdom, decided to cut power to everybody, switch it back on, then cut the power again, and then switch it on, then switch it off, all in the span of about 10 seconds. This power fluctuation wackiness, then caused a very important network switch to lose its configuration. There was also the matter of taking down the servers gracefully. Then there was the fact that I had Blackberrys to configure and test. Then there was the matter of the USB to serial adapter not working for the Blackberrys, since there are machines here without serial ports.
Then I looked at the clock and saw that it was 8:45 in the morning.
