Oh, Wait, One More Thing

My office slopes inward, toward the center of the building. I notice this as my chair’s natural position is to be directly connected to the desk. It will not stay in one place. When I attempt to seat myself, it will slide underneath me with no urging from me. Most interesting.

The Candle That Burns Twice As Bright

All good things, must come to an end. And the last two weeks have been so very, very good. It’s been a long time since I took some time off for myself. Got some errands done. Slept a lot. Played a lot of games. A lot of games. Made some new friendships. Renewed some old ones.

The important thing was to spend some “Me” time with myself. Time to do the things that I needed to do. Not run off on some vacation, where I’d need to recover in time for my job. Not go home and get stressed out. But just stay home. Drink some tea. Talk to my parents over the phone. From a distance. Call my brother.

One More Thing

Lots and lots of dead ladybugs.

I Have a Window?!

Granted, it’s a small window. And it has an air conditioner in it. Okay, eighty percent of it. But I do have a floor all to myself. No, really. The top floor of this building is basically my office. That’s the initial conception of everything so far. Other than that, I appear to be doing okay, as far as sleep is concerned. Further updates as events warrant.

The End of an Era

I am so not ready for this.
