And Tonight's Lucky Winner Is. . .

Whoever bet on my getting to bed before four in the morning. I know there was at least one of you.

Today’s agenda:

Army Surplus Store. Picked up a black BDU top as a jacket. Looks pretty good. Then Dave and Busters–for dinner only, I swear! Finally, a free Resident Evil screaming. (rimshot) Move over Mortal Kombat, there’s a new king of the video game to movie franchises. Seriously, though. An excellent conversion of the videogame with the horrible voice acting. Although the writing isn’t the best, it comes across as a fairly decent film. Finally (again), I exercise my culinary skills by making the midnight snack for the folks down here.

“What kind of experiments did they do here?”
“The illegal kind.” (laughs from the audience.)

I hope that in the future, more movies will come from decent franchises. I’d like to see a good Zelda movie. Something based on the N64 Zeldas would be great.

Discovery of the Day: Well Prepared Tea + Baileys = Delicious!

Well, There Goes Another Saturday Morning

I was awake, just a little too early.

Thinking About: PIU and Bowling tonight, really.

Beer. It's Not Just For Breakfast Anymore.

2pm. Thursday. Nearly drunk.

I’m telling you, this whole “job” thing is for suckers. There’s just too much personal stuff for people to do. Not enough time to do it all.

Karaoke last night. Brickskellar this afternoon. Dave and Buster’s this evening.

Thinking About: Giving myself a car for my birthday.

Comics Read on a daily basis.
Sluggy Freelance
Best if started from the beginning. Right now, possibly the oldest one out there. The artist is currently taking a four week hiatus, so now’s probably a good time to catch up.

Sinfest
The only webcomic with a futility watch, I consider Tatsuya Ishida the hardest working man in web comicdom. Nary a missed day, and with a spiritual side lacking in most webcomics. Some have likened the comic to a certain boy and his tiger.

PvP
A so called “gaming comic” with characters that transcend any sort of “gaming comic” boredom. You’ll like it, even if you don’t like games.

Penny-Arcade
This is some fucked up shit most times. Sometimes obscure. Sometimes offensive. But always hilarious among those that get the joke.

GPF
Good arcs. Good characters. A solid comic.

MegaTokyo
Best character designs and art. That’s just my opinion. The story took a while to get going, but now you really want them to get started.
